Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains exactly what information BinDash collects,
why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal
information to third parties — ever.
1. Who We Are
BinDash ("BinDash," "we," "us," or "our") is a residential bin-moving service operating in the
Phoenix Metro Area, Arizona. We connect homeowners with local service providers ("Runners") to
handle curbside bin placement and retrieval around trash collection days.
Our platform is accessible at
www.bindash.org and
www.bindash.shop.
For privacy-related questions, contact us at
support@bindash.org.

Information from Third Parties
- Stripe — payment status, customer ID, and subscription status.
- Resend — email delivery status (delivered, opened, bounced).
- Twilio — SMS delivery status and opt-out records.
- Supabase — our database and authentication provider; data is stored in their secure cloud infrastructure.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect only for the following purposes:
- Providing the service — creating and managing your account, scheduling and dispatching bin runs, assigning Runners to routes.
- Communications — sending service notifications, route completion alerts, schedule changes, and account updates via email and SMS.
- Payment processing — billing for subscription plans and per-visit charges, processing Runner payouts.
- Route optimization — using your geocoded property location to build efficient runner routes.
- Safety — sharing necessary property access details (gate codes, pet info) with assigned Runners so they can complete service safely.
- Platform improvement — analyzing usage patterns (in aggregate, never individually identifiable) to improve reliability and features.
- Legal compliance — meeting obligations under applicable Arizona and federal law.
We do not use your information for advertising, behavioral profiling, or sale to data brokers.
4. SMS & Text Message Communications
SMS consent is separate from general account consent. By providing your mobile
phone number during signup and checking the SMS consent box, you agree to receive text messages
from BinDash for service-related notifications only.
What we text you about:
- Confirmation that your bins have been moved to the curb.
- Confirmation that your bins have been returned.
- Route delays, schedule changes, or missed service alerts.
- Emergency pickup confirmations.
- Account and payment notifications.
We will never text you:
- Promotional or marketing messages.
- Third-party advertisements.
- Messages unrelated to your BinDash service.
Message frequency:
Typically 2–4 messages per collection day, depending on your service type. Frequency varies.
How to opt out:
Reply STOP to any BinDash text message at any time. You will receive one
final confirmation and no further messages. You can also manage SMS preferences in your account
dashboard. Opting out of SMS does not cancel your BinDash service.
Help:
Reply HELP to any BinDash text or email
support@bindash.org.
Msg & data rates may apply. SMS services are powered by Twilio.
Twilio's privacy policy is available at
twilio.com/legal/privacy.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited circumstances:
With Runners (Service Providers)
Assigned Runners receive only the information necessary to complete your service:
your first name, street address, bin location, gate type, gate code (if any), and pet warnings.
Runners do not receive your email address, phone number, payment details, or last name.
With Technology Partners
For Legal Reasons
We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect the
safety, rights, or property of BinDash, our users, or the public.
Business Transfers
If BinDash is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as
part of that transaction. You will be notified by email and given the opportunity to delete
your account before any such transfer takes effect.
6. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Supabase's secure cloud infrastructure hosted in the United States.
We implement the following security measures:
- All data transmitted between your device and our platform is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
- Database access is protected by row-level security (RLS) policies — each user can only access their own data.
- Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never stored on BinDash servers.
- Gate codes and access information are stored encrypted and only surfaced to actively assigned Runners during a live route.
- Admin access to the platform requires multi-factor authentication.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we use commercially
reasonable measures to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event
of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
7. Data Retention

- Active accounts — data is retained for the duration of your account plus 12 months after cancellation, to handle any billing disputes or service inquiries.
- Job and route history — retained for 24 months for billing verification and service quality review, then deleted or anonymized.
- Payment records — retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations.
- SMS opt-out records — retained indefinitely to honor your preference and comply with TCPA regulations.

11. Cookies & Tracking
BinDash uses minimal tracking technology:
- Session storage — used to maintain your login session while you use the app. Cleared when you close your browser.
- Local storage — used to remember your preferences (such as which page you were viewing) between sessions. No personal data is stored here.
- No third-party advertising cookies — we do not use Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising tracking.
- No analytics trackers — we do not use Google Analytics or similar services that profile your behavior across websites.
You can clear local and session storage at any time through your browser settings. This will log
you out of BinDash but will not affect your account data.
